A multi-talented and multi award winning creator, who has moved seamlessly through genre’s of feature film, television, advertising, music video and live performances. Robinson’s latest producer/director projects is the Lebron James' SpringHill Entertainment and Universal feature film "Shooting Stars". This coming-of-age story of Lebron James during his high school years Released June 2, 2023. Chris directed BETs highest rated program in network history "The New Edition Story" which received a NAACP Image Award.. Robinson directed Barack Obamas' White House concert "Love & Happiness" followed by the Amazon Prime pilot "The Climb", and became co-executive producer of the Fox/Lee Daniels one-hour drama "STAR". As a noted filmmaker Chris has created a visual style that has garnered multiple awards including MTV AWARD/BEST DIRECTION for Erykah Badus "HONEY". Robinson was also nominated for a Grammy award for the iconic music video ONE MIC featuring NAS. Frequent artistic collaborators include Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Yasin Bey, Drake, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Rihanna, Lenny Kravitz, Snoop Dogg, ASAP Rocky, Diddy, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Outkast and many more. Robinson also directed the Netflix coming of age film "Beats" starring Anthony Anderson. He began his career in Baltimore at a local television station in the promo department.
